The Fruit Processing: Juice Making Workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of food processing and preservation through a hands-on juicing experience. During this event, participants will transform fresh fruit into juice while learning how agricultural products move from harvest to consumption.
Participants will create their own juice blends, experimenting with flavor combinations and learning how fruit variety and ripeness influence taste and yield. They will also design a personalized recipe card to document their juice creation, reinforcing measurement skills, sequencing, and clear communication.
The workshop includes instruction on basic food safety, preparation techniques, and the concept of value-added agriculture. By the end of the event, participants will better understand how simple processing adds value to farm-grown produce while building confidence, creativity, and practical kitchen skills.
